Feeling Crafty!

Vik and I are one of those couples that buy overpriced organic dairy, which happens to be sold only in paper cartons. I honestly prefer the taste of organic milk, so the extra cost for me is more than worth it (not to mention the health and environmental benefits). However, hereditary thriftiness does course through my veins, so I was excited to come across this website recently and see that our empty milk cartons can be repurposed into a very cool toy for Oliver. I cannot wait to save enough to make a decently sized set of big blocks for my baby boy!

These . . .

become these . . .

which (with the help of some contact paper) become these!

P.S. An update from Oliver’s four-month appointment will be posted shortly, but for right now I am off to drink (another) nice tall glass of ice-cold organic milk!

Hey, thanks for sharing! I’m not a big milk drinker, but my husband goes through a gallon of (organic, of course) milk a week. Not sure how he’s gonna feel about stockpiling a bunch of cardboard boxes, though, but we’ll give it a whirl.
