We are so excited to announce that Oliver Jayanand* N_____ entered the world on Tuesday, March 16, 2010, at 7:33 am. He weighed 6 pounds, 12 ounces, and was 20 inches long. He has huge brown eyes (framed by long black eyelashes) and loads of jet black hair. He loves to snuggle, breastfeeds like a pro, and constantly amuses Mommy and Daddy with his funny expressions. In short, he is perfect and we are in love.

* Jayanand was the first name of Vik’s Dada (paternal grandfather). We chose the first name Oliver simply because we like it. We imagine “Oliver” as a charming little gentleman with a slightly mischievous bent to his personality. So far, our sweet baby seems like he will fit the bill.
