Funny thing when one’s erudite friend, who is quickly becoming known as the tax maven of the midwest, calls to say “hey I started a blog, I’m going to send you the link, will you read it?” Obviously, you say “yes, of course. OMG are you blogging about health care? the latest trends from Tori Burch? are you blogging about IRC 704 and it’s impact on small business? what? what?” More obviously, you think to yourself “I knew she would become famous before I do! Next there will be a book and then a movie! I better get my act together!”
Then you slap your narcissistic self in the face and open the blog and scroll down and think “that’s weird. did she send me the right link?” And then it dawns on you and you feel like the biggest idiot and then all of a sudden there are flashes of recollections of little hints here and there and unintended inuendos that may have been uttered and you realize “OH MY GOD JOANNE IS PREGNANT!!!!!”
I love you both and am so excited and happy for you and Alice can’t wait to have a Godsister.
